This project involves the development of rooftop solar PV power plants across Sumitomo Electric Egypt’s industrial facilities in 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October, and Port Said, with an initial total capacity of 3.2 MW. Currently in progress, it is expected to generate 4.9 GWh of clean electricity annually, significantly reduce reliance on the national grid, and cut approximately 245,000 tons of carbon emissions each year.
