IRSC, through its subsidiary Cobalt, has signed a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with El Nahda Cement (Qena) to develop, finance, build, and operate a 27 MW solar power plant, supplying the facility with clean, reliable, and cost-competitive energy.
The agreement was signed in the presence of H.E. Eng. Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector.
Eng. Andrew Daniel, Chairman of IRSC, who signed on behalf of Cobalt, emphasized that strategic partnerships like this are key to accelerating renewable energy adoption, reducing carbon emissions, and driving Egypt’s industrial sector toward a low-carbon, sustainable future.
